Mark Sabo brings over three decades of experience as a finance and operations executive to his FINANCIAL HORIZONS clients. His skills were honed over the entreprenuerial kitchen table to the corporate boardroom. Mark’s work history begins with his own “grassroots to NASDAQ” story in which his family’s single auto parts store in Detroit grew to a publicly traded chain of seventy stores with 1,500 employees and $100 million in revenues. His hands were on every aspect of the business, from sales clerk to senior manager. Mark has worked for regional and international CPA firms servicing large and small clients, including Ford Motor Company and the United States Department of Labor.

His subsequent 14 years were spent in the broadcast industry as Controller for two large- market television stations, WKBD-TV, Detroit and KIRO-TV, Seattle. These years boosted his expertise in business strategizing and the complex issues surrounding ownership change, business valuation, goodwill analysis and internal controls structure. Mark Sabo founded FINANCIAL HORIZONS in 2003 and holds an MBA in Finance from Seattle Pacific University. He has been a lecturer at the University of Washington Business School, Highline Community College and Central Washington University. Mark has been an Adjunct Professor in the MBA program at Seattle Pacific University and at the Leadership for Education Adult Program at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.
